Lag Fixer ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy while helping you optimize your device storage and performance. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application and website.

1. Data Ownership & Local Processing

Your media and storage data belongs to you. Lag Fixer is built with a **Local-First** architecture. This means the scanning of your gallery, identification of duplicates, and file compression happen entirely on your device. We do not upload your personal photos or videos to our servers for processing.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Media Metadata

We access your device storage to analyze file sizes, types, and creation dates. This metadata is processed locally to provide you with storage insights and cleanup recommendations.

2.2 Private Vault Data

Items moved to the Private Vault are encrypted using AES-256 bit encryption and stored locally on your device. Unless you explicitly enable Cloud Backup, these files never leave your phone.

2.3 Biometric Data

Lag Fixer supports biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) to unlock your Private Vault. **We do not collect or store your biometric data.** The authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (iOS/Android) via the Secure Enclave. We only receive a "success" or "fail" notification from the OS.

2.4 Account & Authentication

If you create an account, we use **Supabase** to store your email and authentication state. This is required for multi-device sync and premium feature restoration.

2.5 Advertising & Tracking

For free users, we use **Google AdMob** to display advertisements. AdMob may collect your **Advertising ID (IDFA/AAID)**, approximate location, and device identifiers to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud. We only access this data if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

2.6 Subscriptions

We use **Superwall** to manage premium entitlements. Superwall tracks app lifecycle events and subscription status to ensure you have access to Pro features. Financial transactions are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store).

3. How Your Data Is Used

  • Storage Analytics: To provide you with accurate reports on device health and space savings.
  • Secure Management: To facilitate the encryption and protection of your sensitive media.
  • App Stability: To monitor crashes and improve performance عبر anonymous technical logs.
  • Service Delivery: To manage your subscription status and provide customer support.

5. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You have the absolute right to control and delete your data:

In-App Deletion:

Navigate to Settings > Danger Zone > Reset Data & Vault. This will immediately purge your local logs and encryption keys from your device.

Web Deletion Request:

If you created a cloud account, you can request a manual purge via our Deletion Portal.

6. Children's Privacy

Lag Fixer is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
